个人简介
刘煜,男,副教授,博士,硕士生导师,主要从事商务英语与“E+”双专业商务课程的教学与研究。分别毕业于华中师范大学外国语学院(学士)、广东外语外贸大学国际商务英语学院(硕士)、中南财经政法大学工商管理学院(博士)。2012年8月至2014年8月赴美国布莱恩特大学(Bryant University)进行访问学者研究。
现任外语学院创新创业中心负责人,同时担任双创学院兼职导师。长期致力于商务英语教学改革与创新创业教育实践,注重跨学科融合与国际化人才培养。参与国家自然科学基金面上项目,并主持湖北省教育厅人文社科项目。已出版学术专著1部、教材1部,在国内核心期刊发表论文3篇,近三年在国际SSCI期刊发表论文6篇,其中ABS 4星期刊论文1篇。

1. 指导学生创新创业竞赛成果(国家级)
在创新创业教育方面成果显著,近三年指导学生在全国高校商业精英挑战赛、iCAN竞赛、全国大学生市场调查与分析大赛等A类赛事中获得国家级奖项20余项,其中全国一等奖6项,在培养学生创新能力与实践能力方面取得突出成绩。

Profile
Yu Liu is an Associate Professor, PhD, and Master’s Supervisor specializing in the teaching and research of Business English and interdisciplinary “E+” business programs. He received his B.A. in English from Central China Normal University, M.A. in International Business English from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, and Ph.D. in Business Administration from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. From August 2012 to August 2014, he was a visiting scholar at Bryant University in the United States.
He currently serves as Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of the School of Foreign Languages and part-time mentor at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship College. His work focuses on Business English curriculum innovation, interdisciplinary education, and the cultivation of internationally oriented talents.
Dr. Liu has participated in a National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) General Project and has led a Humanities and Social Sciences Project funded by the Hubei Provincial Department of Education. He has published one academic monograph and one textbook, along with three papers in leading Chinese core journals. In the past three years, he has published six papers in SSCI-indexed international journals, including one article in an ABS 4* journal.
Major Teaching Achievements
1. National Student Competition Achievements
Dr. Liu has achieved outstanding results in innovation and entrepreneurship education. Over the past three years, he has guided students to win more than 20 national-level awards in prestigious competitions such as the National Business Elite Challenge for College Students, the iCAN Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and the National College Student Market Survey and Analysis Competition. Among these awards are six national first prizes, demonstrating significant contributions to the cultivation of students’ innovation and practical abilities.
