个人简介

本人2006年毕业于湖北大学获英语语言文学硕士学位,2024年毕业于菲律宾莱西姆大学(Lyceum of the Philippines University)获英语语言研究博士学位,2016—2017年在美国拉塞尔大学(La Salle University)和宾夕法尼亚大学(University of Pennsalvania)访学,具备扎实的学术功底与丰富的教学育人经验。发表SSCI索引期刊论文2篇;主持(完成)湖北省教育科学规划项目、湖北省教育厅哲学社会科学研究基金项目共3项,主持校级本科生和研究生教育教学科研项目、研究生一流课程建设项目多项。

本人受聘担任《文化创新比较研究》(2022—2023年)以及美国《当代亚洲教育杂志》(Asian Journal of Contemporary Education)(2025—2028年)杂志编委及多本SSCI期刊匿名审稿人,积极参与国际学术交流与评审。获武汉工程大学第10届本科教学成果奖(排名第二)、2025年度武汉工程大学师德师风优秀教师称号;年均指导本科和硕士毕业论文10篇,指导学生获得中国国际大学生创新创业大赛等A类赛事省级、国家级奖项10多项,每年带领约30名本科生赴武汉新东方学校实习,搭建校企合作育人平台,助力学生成长与学科发展。

Personal Profile

Cheng Jianshan

Research Interests: Foreign Language Education, Linguistics, Translation

I obtained my Master’s Degree in English Language and Literature from Hubei University in 2007 and my PhD in English Language Studies from Lyceum of the Philippines University in 2024. I was a visiting scholar at La Salle University and the University of Pennsylvania in the United States from 2016 to 2017, boasting solid academic foundation and rich experience in teaching and talent cultivation. I have published 2 papers in SSCI-indexed journals, and presided over 3 projects including Hubei Provincial Education Science Planning Projects and Social Science Research Fund Projects of Hubei Provincial Department of Education (completed). I also took charge of a number of university-level education, teaching and research projects for undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as postgraduate first-class curriculum development projects.

I serve as an editorial board member of *Comparative Study of Cultural Innovation* and the American journal *Asian Journal of Contemporary Education*, and act as an anonymous reviewer for several SSCI journals, actively participating in international academic exchanges and evaluation. I won the 10th Undergraduate Teaching Achievement Award of Wuhan Institute of Technology (the second participant) and the title of Excellent Teacher of Morality and Style of Wuhan Institute of Technology in 2025. I supervise about 10 undergraduate and postgraduate graduation theses on an annual basis, and have guided students to win more than 10 provincial and national awards in Class A competitions such as the China International College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. I lead around 30 undergraduate students to intern at Wuhan New Oriental School every year, building a university-enterprise cooperative education platform to boost students’ growth and disciplinary development.
