个人简介

陈玢，女，教授，硕士生导师，大学英语教学部主任。美国奥本蒙哥马利大学访问学者，Language Teaching Research、SAGE Open等SSCI期刊审稿专家。近年来主持省部级教学研究项目、省教育科学规划项目、省教育厅人文社科重点项目、省级混合式一流本科课程、校级教学研究项目和智慧课程等项目10多项。在SSCI、SCI等国际期刊、CSSCI期刊、北大核心期刊、省级期刊上发表研究论文30多篇。国内外出版社出版专著2本、教材5本。主讲研究生课程《现代外语教学法》、《特殊用途英语研究》等课程。荣获外研社“教学之星”大赛:课程思政案例专项赛全国一等奖、教育部高等学校外语微课大赛全国二等奖、湖北省省级教学成果二等奖、湖北省优秀学士学位论文指导教师、校优秀硕士学位论文指导教师、校级教学成果二等奖、“赢时胜奖教金”教学科研先进工作者、十佳班主任等荣誉。指导学生获教育部认可的A类赛国家级一等奖、二等奖、三等奖和省级一等奖多项。

Profile

Bin Chen, female, professor, master's supervisor, and director of the College English Teaching Department. She is a visiting scholar at Auburn University at Montgomery, USA, and a reviewer for SSCI-indexed journals such as Language Teaching Research and SAGE Open. In recent years, she has presided over ten research projects, including teaching research projects, educational science planning projects and key humanities and social science projects granted by Hubei Provincial Department of Education (HPDE) and Wuhan Institute of Technology (WIT). she has also presided over blended first-class undergraduate courses and smart courses granted by HPDE and WIT. She has published over 30 research papers in international journals indexed by SSCI and SCI, Chinese journals indexed by CSSCI, core journals identified by Peking University and provincial-level journals. She has authored two monographs and edited five textbooks published by domestic and international presses. She teaches postgraduate courses such as Modern Foreign Language Teaching Methodology and Studies in English for Specific Purposes. She has received many honors, including the National First Prize in College English Teaching Competition featuring character education conducted by the Committee of the FLTRP "Star of Teaching" Contest, the National Second Prize in Foreign Language Micro-Lesson Contest of college English teachers held by Teachers Training Center of Department of Education, the Second Prize of the Hubei Provincial Teaching Achievement Award granted by Hubei Provincial Government, the title of Outstanding Supervisor for Hubei Provincial Excellent Bachelor's Theses, Outstanding Supervisor for WIT Excellent Master's Theses, the Second Prize of WIT Teaching Achievement Award, the "Yingshisheng Award" for Advanced Individual in Teaching and Research, and the Top Ten Class Advisor Award. She has guided students to win multiple national first, second, and third prizes in A-category competitions recognized by the Ministry of Education, as well as multiple provincial first prizes.
