个人简介
教授,校教学名师,师德标兵。中国英汉语比较研究会教育语言学专业委员会理事,湖北省商英理事院校联盟理事,湖北省翻译协会会员。主要讲授“英语专业毕业论文写作指导”“学术英语论文写作”“应用语言学”等课程。曾赴英国Chichester University、澳大利亚Curtin University和武汉大学访学。主持完成教育部人文社科规划等各级各类项目10多项。以第一作者身份在国内外刊物发表论文30余篇,出版编著6部。获国家教学成果二等奖(2014),省教学成果一等奖(2013,2018)和省教学成果特等奖(2022)。多次获得省优秀学士学位论文、校级优秀硕士学位论文指导老师,指导学生各级各类学科竞赛中获奖。

Personal Profile
Chaolian Tu is a professor, a Distinguished Teacher and a Model of Teacher Ethics at Wuhan Institute of Technology.She is a council member of the Educational Linguistics Committee of the China Association for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese, a council member of the Hubei Provincial Business English Directors’ Alliance, and a member of the Hubei Translators’ Association.
She mainly teaches courses such as “Guidance on English Major Graduation Thesis Writing”, “Academic English Paper Writing”, and “Applied Linguistics”. She has conducted academic visits at Chichester University in the UK, Curtin University in Australia, and Wuhan University in China.
She has presided over and completed more than 10 research projects of various levels, including a Humanities and Social Sciences Planning Project funded by the Ministry of Education of China. As the first author, she has published over 30 academic papers in domestic and international journals, and has authored 6 books.
She has received the Second Prize of National Teaching Achievement (2014), the First Prize of Provincial Teaching Achievement (2013, 2018), and the Special Prize of Provincial Teaching Achievement (2022). She has been repeatedly honored as an advisor for excellent provincial bachelor’s theses and excellent university-level master’s theses, and has guided students to win awards in various discipline competitions at all levels.
